Gonzaga College HS v. Archbishop Carroll
This afternoon I met up with my friend Howard from HTRM2. We are shooting a wedding together in a few weeks and since this will be the first time working together we decided to meet up and shoot a HS football game.
Being in the marching band in high school, I was required to be at all the football games, but I haven’t been to a game since. I will always remember huddling in the ice cold stands as the fall wind whipped through our fingers. Today, that was not the case. The mercury was pushing 90 degrees in downtown Washington and the sun was relentless. With our sunscreen on and water bottles near by, we got some great images and had fun at the same time. Afterwards, we exchanged some great ideas and offered the ever important critiques to help improve our images. A big thank you to Howard for his ideas and mentoring! I took his advice and converted the images to B&W to add an element of drama to the images. Enjoy!
