Photography Challenge: May 9, 2014 - Reflections
This week's photography challenge was "Reflections." It was up to you as to how you wanted to interpret this. You could have used light reflecting off a surface or portray a photo reflecting an emotion.
I wanted to work with both of these ideas and see if I could weave them into a single image. Being that today is Mother's Day and many mother's receive flowers I decided to create a floral arrangement and play with the reflection of the vase and flowers. The single flower, though just like the others, is left out of the arrangement. The flower, trying to fit in with the others, fails to see it's own uniqueness and that it's colors are more vibrant than the others.
I'd love to hear your feedback and thoughts.
